Installation

Installation is simple. Drive a stainless 2-1/2" finish or "T" nail at a 45-degree angle through the spot where the tongue meets the shoulder and into solid wood. Because our tough DuraSkin adds stiffness to the board, nailing can be up to 24" OC. End joints should be beveled at a 30 or 45 degree angle and glued with any high quality, PVC cement. Urethane based exterior construction adhesive like PL400 works well when applied to the wood nailers to augment nailing and reduce end-shrinkage. Trim with PermaTrim or cellular PVC moldings.
